Trevor "Boo" Dotson

Trevor “Boo” Dotson, 20, of Salem passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from injuries sustained in an accident.  Trevor was born in Warren on August 8, 1996 the son of Mark R. (Marty) Anthony and Bobbie Jo Dotson.  Boo enjoyed fishing, watching sports with his dad and was an avid Cleveland sports team fan. He loved spending time with family and friends and was known for helping others.

Survivors include his parents, biological father Steven J. Carl Sr., fiancée Emily A. Carnes of Salem, a baby on the way; paternal grandfathers Carol J. McAvoy of Warren, Charles “Randy” Grimm, maternal grandmother Kathy Dotson of Austintown.  He is also survived by his brothers Tyler R. Anthony of Salem, Steven Carl Jr. of Illinois; three sisters Tiffany D. Anthony of Salem, Miah N. Anthony of Salem, and MacKenzie R. Krohn of Salem, many Aunts and Uncles, as well as his “Dysfunctional Family”.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Mick Dotson and Ray Wood.

A funeral service will be held at 5 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Friends and family may sign the guest register online at www.brownfhonline.com.  Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Salem, OH (330) 337-6363.
