When I started my career at the Cuyahoga Heights Schools, Mr. Lee Hope was one of the three Business Department teachers. He was always a professional educator, was friendly, had a great sense of humor and was willing to help at anytime. While working in the library/media center, he came to me, in the early 80's, to see how his students could benefit from that new thing called a computer. He knew that this was another way to help the students. While at Cuyahoga Heights, he continued that interest until he retired. I'll always remember him as one of the best. The students were very fortunate to have him as a teacher. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends.

My sympathies to Mr. Hope's family. I was a student of his at CHHS. He was one of the best and most patient teachers. We are all better for having known him. God Bless you.

I was glad when they said to me, let us go into the house of the Lord. He has entered the Church Triumphant to bask in the presence of an all wise and all knowing God. He was promised four score years by reason of strength and received thirteen more because of the honor he bestowed upon his parents granted through the first commandment with promise. We can now say, it is well with his soul and he is done with the troubles of this world. I pass God's peace to you.

Mr. Hope was a kind, witty and excellent supportive educator and human being. Many, many laughs we enjoyed during the junior high and high school years at Cuyahoga Heights. Marty Kall, Class on 1967.

We had the honor of knowing Mr. Hope in our teenage years, before graduating in 1960. He was our highly-competent, very instructive, Business Teacher at Cuyahoga Heights High School. We remember him as soft-spoken with a good sense of humor.

Whenever a web site asks the security question “Who was your favorite teacher?” my answer is always “Mr. Hope”. I graduated from Cuyahoga Heights in 1969. The Business Department had three wonderful teachers however Mr. Hope was the best of the best. He is one of the reasons I continued my education to get a business degree. It has been over forty years since I last spoke to Mr. Hope but I have thought of him many times since. May he rest in peace.

Grant, You and your family are in our prayers and thought during this time. Your dad was a wonderful, kind and very soft spoken man whom I always adored. I remember him and your mother with the fondest memories in school and at church, and hope for you and your family that those same type of memories will sustain you during this time of grief. May God's love and blessings surround you all. My heat felt sympathy for your loss. ~~Linda

Condolences to Lee's family and friends. Lee was an honorable man with a great sense of humor and a zest for life. I always enjoyed seeing him in Ravenna. I knew Mary Jand and Margie both. He had chose excellent spouses who made him happy and shared great memories with each other.
