I always admired Arlene's demeanor and grace. She was a sophisticated lady yet could break into a contagious laughter at any given moment. Her entire family meant the world to me growing up in the small town of Three Rivers, MI. Her mother was my Sunday School teacher, Arlene & her brother and sisters all role models to be looked up to. To Duane, and Arlene's husband and family, my heart is saddened with yours. Take pride in knowing she left us with a strong desire to stand taller. As her mother Mildred taught us to sing loudly in that little white church on Main Street, "I can only imagine".

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. She will surely be missed. It has been many years but, I still have sooo many fond memories of spending time with "Grandma" at the hangar & house in North Benton & even remember coming to the PA house & swimming in the pool. Sending lots of thoughts & prayers to you all.

I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family of Arlene. She was a member of Curves for Women for some time. I exercised with and found Arlene to be one of the most pleasant ladies in our membership. She was so kind and thoughtful. I will be remembering her and her family in my prayers.
