I remember many happy times when Heather, Karen and Skip would visit our family in Mellenville. I will miss her very much. Dale

She no longer stands where She once stood---Uprooted--a hole in the earth---evidence that She was the glorious tree that stood for so many years, healthy and strong, welcoming all to enjoy her beauty and shelter--now grows elsewhere, above us. She has begun life anew, even more majestic. Her branches young & strong are full of life luring those under her canopy with wit & wisdom.
With a glint in her eye, She nods and smiles--She is planted again.

Miss Me-But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road -And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little–but not too long -And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me–but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take -And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan, -A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart -Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss Me–But Let me Go.
There is a connection and love between sisters,no matter the distance or the closeness between them. Life doesn't always give us the ideal circumstances in having the closeness we thought would always be there. There are no words to express the admiration I have had for my sister during her final months. She inherited the strength from the women in our family which kept her fighting--and fight she did. She was an inspiration to me, and I always will be reminded of her strength and enormous courage. I will miss her, but will find comfort in remembering the little girls we were with the bows in our hair and the giggles we shared.
