Ruth E Haynie

Ruth E. (Householder) Haynie, 101, of Sebring, Ohio, passed away on February 10, 2023, in the Crandall Medical Center.

Ruth was born on April 18, 1921, to H. Chester and Jennie Householder in New Brighton, PA. After Ruth graduated from New Brighton High School, she was employed for a time in the offices of the Standard Horse Nail Corporation.

She was married to her husband Albert W. Haynie on May 11, 1946, in a service at the historic Paxton Presbyterian church in Harrisburg, PA.

Ruth is fondly thought of as loving, strong, and funny woman.

Ruth was predeceased by husband Albert W. Haynie, in 1999 and her brother Ralph Householder, in 2017. She is survived by nieces Jen Krueger, Jill Heise, and Peggy Nayar. There are numerous niece and nephew-in-laws.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Oaks Foundation, Copeland Oaks, 800 South 15th Street, Sebring, Ohio 44672, an organization Ruth felt strongly about.
