Robert Yeagley

Robert Yeagley, 84, of Sebring passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Altercare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Alliance. Robert was born on June 3, 1937 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Raymond and Lucille (Hartley) Yeagley. He enjoyed woodworking, making crafts, traveling and camping, he even was known to build his own custom campers. Robert worked at Quaker City IGA and managed various properties with his late wife Joann; Holiday Garden Apartments, Paradise Lake Campground and Hiram Apartments, in his earlier years he also worked for the Sebring Axillary Police, Sebring Royal China and as an over the road truck driver.

Robert is survived by his children; Robert (Patricia) Yeagley Jr. of Mt. Clemens, MI. and Penny Jo (Michael) Thompson of Sebring, OH.; two sisters; Sandy (Bill) Lyons, and Patricia (Henry) Good. He is also survived by four grandchildren Matthew, Kyle, Jenna and Travis and three great-grandchildren Addy, Kylynn and Connor. Besides his parents Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Joann whom he married on August 10, 1957 and died on May 24, 2021, three brothers; Jerry, George and Ernie Yeagley and a sister Dorothy Yeagley Lockner.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. You may sign the guest register and view the obituary online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
