Robert Wilkin Obituary

Robert Wilkin, 92, of Sebring passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Canterbury Villa in Alliance. Robert was born in Amsterdam, Ohio on January 14, 1927 to the late William and Mary (Ohler) Wilkin. Robert was a United States Army Veterans serving in WWII. He was a member of Sebring Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the former Sebring VFW Post 6730, former member of the Sebring Lions Club and served on the Board of Directors as Lion Taimer and was a member of United Steel Workers Union #3059.

Robert is survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou (Arnold) Wilkin whom passed away February 25, 2011; sisters Ila Ruth Smith, Evelyn Mae Bryan, Sara Jane Cope and Maxine Gatchel; brother William Wilkin Jr.; half sisters Isabelle Smaltz and Lois Frampton and half brother John Wenner.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home at 1:30 PM. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit.
