Robert Albert Biery

Robert Albert Biery, 96, of Alliance passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Bob was born on March 20, 1925 to the late Charles and Emma (Warren) Biery. Robert was a graduate of Goshen High School and a member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church were he attended adult Sunday school. He was a United States Navy Veteran from 1944 to 1946. After serving in the military Robert worked for American Steel Foundries until his retirement. In his free time Bob enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends and his dog Molly.

Robert is survived by his wife Laura Belle(Wack) Biery whom he married on December 1, 1945; children Richard (Randy Cady) Biery of Alliance, John (Barb) Biery of Beloit, Jeff (Karen) Biery of Homeworth, Chuck (Denise) Biery of Salem and Ted Biery of Damascus; 9 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Besides his parents Robert was preceded in death by a sister Helen Burkey and brother Bud Biery.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor David Andrews officiating. Friends and family will be received the hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. Interment will take place at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
