Nellie C Eberling

Nellie C. Eberling, 83, of Alliance passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Altercare of Alliance. Nellie was born on August 31, 1938 in Gassaway, West Virginia to the late Sharlet and Floyd Carpenter. Nellie retired from Sherwood Manufacturing.

Nellie is survived by her daughter Darlene Higgins a daughter-in-law Laura Eberling, 7 Grandchildren, Timothy Unkefer, Barry Schroeder, Carolyn Nicole Fountain, David Unkefer, Clifford J. (Alicia) Eberling III, Aaron (Devin) Eberling, Zakary Eberling and 14 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Marvin (Beverly) Carpenter, Burl Carpenter, Rowena Ludu, Rosie Best, Susan (Ronnie) Emplit, Donald Carpenter, Thomas Carpenter and Louise Marks. Besides her parents Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Clifford J. Eberling who passed away on August 9, 2018; a daughter Carolyn Unkefer and a son Clifford J. Eberling II and by two sisters Audrey Graham and Diana Rose; a brother Paul Carpenter; two sister-in-laws Doris Carpenter and Carol Carpenter and a brother-in-law Jim Marks.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home. Friends and family will be recieved on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit.
