Nancy J Slagle

Nancy J. Slagle, age 85, of Beloit peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 3, 2024.

Born in Alliance, Ohio, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Ware. She graduated from Sebring High School and was married to Bruce E. Slagle for 61 years.

First, Nancy was a woman of faith. Additionally, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always willing to serve and encourage others. She was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church, Legacy Chapter #596 and Palmy Chapter #114 Order of the Eastern Star.

Nancy is survived by daughter Cheryl (husband Don), sons David (wife Amy), Donald, Michael (wife Eva), daughter Lynette (husband Kyle), grandchildren Andrea, Julianna, Alexis, Emma, Nicole, Dana, Joshua, Jonathon and Taylor, sisters Marilyn (husband Jim) and Martha (husband Bob), sister-in-law Barb and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. All will greatly miss her.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, sister Patricia and brothers-in- law Rick and Gene, nephew Jason and great-granddaughter Maylee.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday February 13, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Gednetz-Ruzek and Brown Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio. Friends and family will be received from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm prior to the service. Family is invited to the inurnment at Grandview Cemetery, Sebring on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 11:00 am.
