Melvin Ten Eyck, 87, beloved Husband and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on May 27, 2019. He entered this world on March 22, 1932, in Eaton, CO, born to Dallas William Ten Eyck and Myrtle (Shallenberger) Ten Eyck. Mel served in the Navy during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He was a member of the Sebring First Church of the Nazarene, a lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and Salem Elks Lodge #305. Mel enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing with his son Keith.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Robin (Zepernick) Ten Eyck and daughters Debra (Randy) Rose, Melinda (Carey) Olcott, Melanie Ten Eyck, son Keith Ten Eyck and brother Kenneth (Dee) Ten Eyck. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Timothy Ferguson, a brother Allen Ten Eyck and a sister Marilyn Harmon. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 12:00 PM at Sebring First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the church from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit with Military honors provided by the Salem Amvets.
