On April 29, 2020 Melodie a loving mother of 2 children passed away at the age of 59. Melodie was an amazing woman who loved her family and friends; known as a daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend to many. Melodie was a beautiful soul inside and out being able to put a smile on anyones face and just being there for anyone in need. Melodie was very involved in her children's life whether it be being a band mom for the Canfield Band, being a 4-H mom and advisor to just being someone that anyone could go to about anything and everything. Melodie loved going to the beach and laying in the sand, having sunrise walks along the water and visiting with her niece Emmalie. Melodie was a fan of the small things in life it never had to be something big to make her smile she was just happy.

Melodie is survived by her children Jacob (Jill) Yeager and Monica (Clara) Ramser, her sisters Gayle (John) Aiken and Valerie (Michael) Laplante, her nieces Emmalie (Nick) Abitua and Sarah (Josh) Large plus many cousins of whom she loved dearly. Her In-laws Bonnie (Chuck) Tieche, Donnie (Dorla) Yeager, Pete (Carolyn) Yeager and Todd (Kriss) Yeager plus many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Melodie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Louise Carter, her nephew Johnny Aiken III, and her mother and father in-law Walter and Doris Yeager Sr.

A funeral and Celebration of Life will be held for Melodie at a later date due to the inability to have a proper gathering. Melodies' children will let anyone that wants to come know when that date will be and if anyone wants to wait to order flower arraignments may do so for the Celebration of life.

If the memories of Melodie gets hard just remember one of her favorite sayings, " Just keep Swimming, just keep swimming" Dori (Finding Nemo).
