Mary F Hoebeke

August 21, 1927 — January 24, 2024

Alliance

Mary Hoebeke, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024, at the age of 96, in the same town where she first opened her eyes to the world on August 21, 1927. Born to Louis Ring and Anna (Simmons) Ring. Mary's journey began in Alliance, Ohio, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her six siblings. Her life was enriched by the bonds she formed with each family member, relationships that she cherished until her last days. Her parents, Louis and Anna, predeceased her, leaving a legacy of strength and compassion that Mary carried throughout her life.

On October 10, 1944, Mary's heart found its match when she married the love of her life, Raymond W. Hoebeke. Their union was a partnership of mutual respect and unwavering support, lasting until Raymond's passing on March 17, 2007. Together, they built a family and a home that was always filled with laughter, and storytelling.

Mary's role as a mother was one of her greatest joys. She raised two sons, R. Mike (Dallas) Hoebeke and Dan (Linda) Hoebeke, both of whom inherited her strong sense of family and her compassionate spirit. Mary took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her beloved grandson, Daniel Todd (Samantha) Hoebeke, and granddaughters, Michele Bodenstadt, Stacie (Victor) Factora, and Danielle (Womeen) French-Jun. Her five great-grandchildren, Shawn Rine, Victor Gabriel Factora, Kai Tae Jun, Rae Lynn Jun, and Rylee Hoebeke, brought her immeasurable joy and were the light of her later years.

Beyond her family, Mary found fulfillment in her work as a nanny, a role that allowed her to extend her nurturing love to many children over the years. Her caring nature and the sense of security she provided made her an unforgettable figure in the lives of the families she helped.

Mary was a member of the Deerfield Evangelical Friends Church for many years. Her faith community became an extended family, one that she supported through active involvement and steadfast prayer. Mary's love for reading brought her comfort and wisdom, enriching her life with the stories of others and the lessons they held.

Mary Hoebeke's departure is not just a loss but a reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived. As we honor her memory, we take solace in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved husband Raymond and her siblings in eternal peace.
