Mark Robert Hergenroder

Mark Robert Hergenroder, 59, of Alliance passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center. Mark was born on May 15, 1962 in Salem, Ohio to the late Robert and Diane (Talbot) Hergenroder. Mark worked at MPI Labels in Alliance in the RFID Division. Mark volunteered for the Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity where he helped build 20 homes. He spent many hours at Burtzland Outfitters where he enjoyed building guns. Mark enjoyed being outdoors camping at Paradise Lake Campground, riding his motorcycle or spending time with his dogs. Mark spent many nights having dinner at his favorite local restaurant, Bann Thai, and they became his extended family. Above all, Mark cherished his time spent with his family especially his grandchildren who he loved so much.

Mark is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Cynthia (Deckerd) Hergenroder who he married on November 14, 1981; children Matthew Robert (Nicolle) Hergenroder and Kylie Anne (Nicholas) Dillon; a brother David Hergenroder; a sister Marilyn Rowedda and three grandchildren Mason Robert, Maddison Lynn and Cash Andrew. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Kahler officiating. A time of visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity, 470 E. Broadway St., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
