Margaret (McLaughlin) Phillips

Margaret Theresa Phillips, of North Benton passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Crandall Medical Center. Margaret was born in North Lima on October 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Mick) McLaughlin, and wife for 60 years to the late Keith D. Phillips. She was a homemaker and worked at Modern Display Plastics in Sebring. Margaret enjoyed exercise, walking outdoors, and was known as an incredible baker and undefeated champion pie baker. She and husband Keith were members of East Goshen Friends Church.

Survivors include her children; Michael (Mary) Phillips of Cincinnati, Keith E. (Gloria Trujillo) Phillips of Singapore, and step-sons Daniel Phillips of Indiana and James Phillips of Alliance. She is also survived by three sisters Agnes Ridgeway, Theresa Long, and Jenny Troutman. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring at 1:00 PM with Pastor Josh White officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday the hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in East Goshen Cemetery in Beloit. Memorial contributions can be made in Margaret's honor to the East Goshen Friends Church 16818 S. Range, Beloit, OH 44609.
