Keith Devere Phillips

Keith D. Phillips 92, of North Benton passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. Keith was born in Beloit on August 1, 1926, the son of the late Eli and Elsa (Stanley) Phillips. He was a Plastering contractor and also worked at Mount Union College in the Physical Plant, taking care of the Timken Gymnasium. Keith enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening and was known for being a skillful roller skater. He and his wife are members of the East Goshen Friends Church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Margaret (McLaughlin) Phillips of North Benton whom he married on August 30, 1958, his children; Michael (Mary) Phillips of Cincinnati, Keith (Gloria Trujillo) Phillips of Singapore, Daniel Phillips of Indiana and James Phillips of Alliance. He is also survived by nine grandchildren,several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, two grandsons, three brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Reich officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday the hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in East Goshen Cemetery in Beloit. Memorial contributions can be made in Keith's honor to the East Goshen Friends Church 16818 S Range, Beloit, OH 44609.
