Judith Jane (DeBolt) McElroy

Judith (DeBolt) McElroy, 79, of Sebring passed away on Jan. 4, 2023 in Warren.
Judith, the daughter of the late Felix Sr. and Evelyn DeBolt, was born on Dec. 15, 1943 in Alliance. She graduated from Sebring High School and worked in various occupations including as a housekeeper and nurse aide at Crandall Medical Center.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching her sports teams including the Cleveland Indians. She especially loved listening to music and talk radio and following the news. Judy belonged to both the American Legion Post 76 and VFW Post 6730 in Sebring.

Survivors include her brother, Doug (Terry) DeBolt of Sebring; two sons, Michael (Yvonne) Moore of Warren and Kurt (Alicia) Moore of Middletown; stepdaughter Tracy Moore of the state of Arizona; two grandchildren, Drusilla Moore of Jackson and DiKembe Moore of Middletown; and nephews and nieces. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Carol (Michael) Amabeli and Charlotte (Kerry) Parks of New Martinsville, W. Va.; and a brother, Felix Glenn DeBolt Jr. of Sebring; stepson Jack D. Moore Jr. of Kent; first husband Jack D. Moore Sr. of Sebring and second husband, Jim McElroy of Sebring; and three beloved pets, dogs Missy, Gidget and Mazie.

A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 13, at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring. Calling hours will be held 11:00 AM to noon Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends and family may sign the guest register and send condolences at www.grfuneralhome.com.
