Obituary

JoAnn Ludt, 69, of Hanoverton passed away at Salem Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. JoAnn was born on September 6, 1953 the daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline (Clark) Crowl. JoAnn enjoyed volunteering at The Way Station in Columbiana, she also loved to crochet, bake, being outdoors, gardening and bird watching. However most important was spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her beloved fiance Paul McIntosh, sons Jerry (Crystal) Hostetter, Mike Hostetter, Stan (Kelly) Ludt, daughter Bobbie Jo Hostetter, step-sons Jim (Kathy) Vale, Jessie Ludt, and Gary Ludt, 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters in law Sally Crowl, Marie Crowl and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ludt, brothers Sunny Crowl, Pete Crowl, Jake Crowl, Don Crowl, a sister Susie Steeves, a grandson Dylan Ludt and a nephew Jimmy Horn.
