Jeannine M (McCann) Walizer

1934 - 2021



Jeannine McCann Walizer, 86 of Alliance, passed away on April 8, 2021 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. Jeannine was born on September 1, 1934 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry Bertolette McCann and Alta Eliza (Ritchie) McCann. She lived in the Alliance area her entire life. She graduated from Sebring High School class of 1952 and while in high school worked at Spot Dairy. Jeannine also worked at Royal China, Morgan Engineering Co., Alliance Machine, Kerma Corporation and alongside her husband at Walizer Shell Service Station.
Jeannine is survived by her husband Franklin Dean Walizer of Crandall Medical Center whom she married on January 14, 1977. She is survived by her children Joseph David (LuAnn Shuster) Tucker of Lakewood, Ohio, Dr. Patricia (Matthew Lansell) Tucker of Alliance, Mark Tucker of Alliance and two stepsons, Darryl Walizer of Alliance and Craig (Tina) Walizer of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Kellianne Tucker, Sarah Shuster-Tucker, Allison Lansell, Amanda (Derek Wojcik) Lansell, David Shuster-Tucker, JennaLee (Kyle) Simon, Griffin Walizer, Korina Tucker and 4 great grandchildren; Gavin Abbott, Jameson Curry, Mia Rose Walizer and Luca Eakins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Harry "Duke" McCann and Jack F. McCann, and a sister-in law Phyllis M. McCann. Jeannine's family would like to thank her care givers at Crandall Medical Center, Aultman Hospice Care, and Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home.
Jeanine's arrangements included cremation and will be interred with her husband Dean at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at a later date. Jeannine will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Hi Dean,
Im very sorry for your loss and hope only the best for you and your family.
I think or you and the Shell guys as being some of my best memories.
Names like Dean, Joe, Jimmy Jones, Sonny Fry and yes Daryl  are jus a few  that I think of after spotting a Shell  Sign.

So very sorry to hear of your loss.  Jeanine will always be remembered by me for her  cheerful self, so positive and always laughing and smiling.  My parents only had wonderful things to say about her.   She always went out of her way to help others.  I will never forget her calling me and going out of her way to get Mark another unicycle thinking maybe it was safer than his motorcycle.  I'm glad I got to see and talk with her at the last carnation parade.
