James "JD" Dale Rohrer

On January 26, 2022, James Dale (J.D.) Rohrer passed away after suffering non-Covid related medical complications. J.D. was born in Alliance, Ohio on May 17, 1975. He was 46 years old and a 1994 graduate of West Branch High School. He worked in the steel industry with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from St. Mary's College of California. J.D. was charming, brilliant and kind. His friends were very important to him. He enjoyed the outdoors and sports. His family never quite understood his following of the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Michigan Wolverines, but he, nevertheless, was an avid fan of both.
J.D. was a loving Uncle to Grace, Emma and Maddie VanDeusen. He is predeceased by his Grandparents, Dale and Martha Rohrer and James and Jean Chain. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Terrie Rohrer, his brother-in-law and sister, Jeff and Amanda VanDeusen, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

On February 26, 2022, calling hours will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service to be held at 12:00 p.m. at the Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road, Damascus, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Salem, 330-337-6363.
