James White Obituary

Pastor James M. White, 87, of Beloit, Ohio, Heard the words "Well done, Thou good and faithful servant" and was received into the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on December 1, 2022. He was born to Herbert and Helen Caroline (Smith) White. He leaves behind the love of his life of 68 years, Inis Maxine (Reagan) White. His 7 children Debbie White-Stallman, Chris Blake, Annette Huskins-Grove (Mike), Rick White, Caroline (Terry) Criss, Tim (Cindy) White, and Charity White. He had 16 grandchildren, 23 great grand-children and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Herbert (Buck) White, Margarete Stratton, Millie Bishop, his son in law, Clarence Blake, and a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Blake.
He attended Atwater School and was a truck driver for 21 years. He was then called into ministry and graduated from Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan. After graduation, he started the Fellowship Baptist Church in 1973. The church was started in the Sebring High School and is currently in Beloit, Ohio where he Pastored for 49 years. He had various ministries which included a large bus ministry, homeless shelter ministry, nursing home ministry, and a prison ministry. In 2019, he received his honorary doctorate of divinity from Marietta Bible College for his vast knowledge and dedication to winning souls for the Lord. Pastor White's verse to live by was John 14:14 "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Beloit, a time of visitation will be held on Monday two hour prior to the service at the church from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will take place at Atwater Cemetery. Friends and family may sign the guest register and send condolences online as well as watch Pastor White's service that will be live streamed on the funeral homes website at www.grfuneralhome.com.
