James Miller Malcomson

James “Jim” Miller Malcomson, 76 of Alliance passed away at his home on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Jim was born on August 6, 1942 in Alliance to the late Earl and Bertha (wack) Malcomson. Jim enjoyed pulling horses for many years and pulled at many fairs, with the favorite being the Mahoning County Fair. He was a member of the Buckeye Horsepullers Association and Northeast Horsepullers Association. He was a member of the Army Reserves for 6 years. Jim was the owner and operator of Malcomson Logging.

Jim is survived by his life long companion of 46 years Linda Moulin; son James Albert Malcomson; aunt and uncle Robert (Laura Belle) Biery and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Timothy Malcomson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Carol McCartney officiating. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
