George Lowell Grove

George Grove, 94, of Beloit passed away at his home on Saturday, April 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. George was born on November 1, 1925 in Beloit, Ohio to the late William and Sarah (Buckman) Grove. George served in the United States Army, Private First Class. After the military George returned back to his home and worked on his farm. George and his wife Gladys are members of Westville Congregational Christian Church where they helped build the current church building. George was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

George is survived by his wife Gladys (Johnson) Grove; a son Lynn (Jeanne) Grove; two daughters Debbie (Mike) Bailey and Denise (Bob) Lentz; brother Cliff (Jean) Grove; sister Katherine Kelly; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his parents.

A family burial will take place at North Georgetown Cemetery and a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
