Elizabeth Steve

Elizabeth Steve, age 93, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away at Willow Brook Christian Village on February 6, 2021, with family by her side. The daughter of Greek immigrants, Theophan and Mary (Screaca) Steve, Elizabeth was born on May 11, 1927, in Romania. Miss Steve grew up in Sebring, Ohio, and graduated from Sebring McKinley High School in 1945. She received a B.S. degree in Secretarial Science from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, in 1949. Elizabeth was employed by the Shell Oil Company for 39 years, serving in various Administrative Secretarial positions in Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL and Houston, TX. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her brother, Theophan Steve, Jr. who died on May 29, 1962. She is survived by stepmother Meropi Steve, half brother Theo (Alicia) Steve, niece Raven Beth Steve and nephew Theo Alexander Steve, stepbrother George (Lisa) Stevenson and family, stepbrother Chris Steve and his family, paternal cousins Stephen Popa, James Popa , Christopher (Jose Luis Trinidad) Popa, Geoffrey Fox, and Diane (David) Kieffer and her family. Elizabeth is also survived by close friends, Janet Ebel, Doris Belovich, Gary (Nancy Jo) Deonise, and Deborah (Terry) Bohr and family.
