Charles Robert Tausch

Charles "Chuck" Robert Tausch 86 of Canton and formerly of Sebring went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2020 at Sanctuary Grande in Canton. Charles was a born again believer and obtained his Salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Chuck was born on December 28, 1933 in Salem, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Rose (Rosatka) Tausch. While living in Sebring, they were long time and active members of the Sebring United Methodist Church. After moving to Hartville, Ohio they attended First Baptist Church of Jackson and Open Door Baptist Church in Plain Township. Mr. Tausch worked for over 29 years in Alliance at American Steel Foundries as a Systems Analyst. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, fishing, and especially reading and studying his Bible. However, most important was spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart Joyce (Locke) whom he married on September 6, 1953, and have been inseparable these last 66 years of marriage; two daughters Cathy (Joseph Sammartino) Tausch of Canton, Amy (Steven) Fleck, and three grandchildren Ashley, Matthew and Marissa Fleck all of Wadsworth. He is also survived by a brother Gerald Tausch of Salem and two sisters Arlene (Robert) DeCrow and Rosalie McAbier both of Marco Island Florida.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring, Ohio with Pastor Rory Wineka officiating. A time of visitation will be held the hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
