Brock William Mason

Brock W. Mason 9, of Salem passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Salem Regional Medical Center. Brock was born in Canton, Ohio on May 18, 2010 the son of Todd and Vanessa (Barlow) Mason. He was about to enter the 3rd grade at Damascus Elementary in the West Branch Local School District. Brock, known to many as "The Brockster" was your typical 9 year old and then some, he was always on the go wanting to be outdoors enjoying whatever he could find and do. He loved being the center of attention as a budding magician attempting to do tricks or telling jokes to family and friends. Even when on his own, there was always something to do including fishing, finding stray animals, and just messing around. He enjoyed going to church and learning about his creator and sharing that knowledge with others; Brock was especially looking forward to playing Little Warriors football this fall even counting down the days to get his jersey.



Survivors include his parents Vanessa and Todd, his four siblings; Keilah, Jacob, Makenna and Alaina. He is also survived by his Maternal Grandparents, Rene and George Barlow Jr., Aunt Sandy and (Rodney Carrico), Aunt Jessica, (Ron Moore), his cousins, Carrissa and Joshua Carrico, Rachel and Hannah Moore, Paternal Grandmother Audrey Mason, his uncle Wayne Mason Jr, and a cousin Brooke. Brock was preceded in death by his Grandfather Wayne Mason Sr.



A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at 7:00 PM with Pastor John Ryser officiating at the Damascus Friends Church. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Private Burial will take place at Damascus Cemetery.
