Yon Soon "Peggy" (Chol) Mcbride

Yon Soon "Peggy" McBride, 77 of Alliance passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Peggy was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 2, 1941 the daughter of Choon Sun (Yi) Chol and Sang Chol she moved to Beloit with her husband in 1965 and in 1976 they moved to Alliance. Peggy loved to cook especially when she could go to her favorite Korean Store in Canton. She also enjoyed working in her garden.

She is survived by her husband James McBride whom she married August 20, 1965, a son Thomas (Angela) McBride, grandchildren; Brook, Samantha and Christopher. She is also survived by her siblings Elm Bon Chol and Chom Bon Chol.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com.
