William J Sanford

William J. Sanford, 72, of Beloit passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Aultman Alliance Hospital. William was born on October 3, 1948 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Henry and Anita (Sacconi) Sanford. William was an avid cards player; enjoyed to bowl and play horseshoes where he won a championship in horseshoes. He built the home where him and Carolyn raised their children and could just about build or fix anything. William had a passion for family and his pride and joy was their children, he loved them so much.

William is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Carolyn (Goodwin) Sanford who he married January 27, 1968; children Lisa (Marvin) Frederick, Brian (Kristi) Sanford and Lori (Keith) Groscost; two brothers Henry Sanford and Gary Sanford; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Besides his parents William was preceded in death by a son Timothy Lewis Sanford and a brother Dave Sanford.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Davidson officiating.
