William L. Pinkerton, 61 of Alliance passed away on January 23, 2022. He was born in Canton, on March 31, 1960 the son of the late Richard Pinkerton and Norma (Matthews) Pinkerton Hawkins. He was a graduate of Marlington High School, a former Volunteer Firefighter for Lexington Township, worked for JT Nist Nursing Home as a maintenance man, then as a plumber for D and A Plumbing. Bill was an outdoors person, enjoying to go hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. He attended the Lexington United Methodist Church and Aldersgate United Methodist Church. However most important to him was spending time with his family, friends especially his great granddaughter Elizabeth.
He is survived by his wife Renee (Fisher) Pinkerton whom he married on August 25, 1989, his four children; Mark (Angela) Pinkerton, Rhonda James, Phillip Hoover, and Stacy (Stanley) Herzog. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Alexis Pinkerton, Kimberly (Robert) Pinkerton-Focht, Dominic Pinkerton, Joshuah James, Jacob James, Jeremiah James, Danica Hoover, Carlee (Jason) Hudgens, Trenton Herzog, two great grandchildren; Elizabeth Beers, and Adalynn James, step-mother Bonnie Pinkerton, two siblings Matthew (Shelly) Pinkerton, and Mary (Dana) Tournoux. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Mark Pinkerton and his favorite buddy and companion Harley the Dachshund.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January, 28, 2022 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring at 12:00 PM with Pastor Stanley Herzog officiating. A time of visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Private burial will take place at Lexington Township Cemetery.
