With heavy hearts, we announce that William Craig, a beloved husband, father and friend passed away peacefully at his home in Hanoverton, Ohio, on June 1, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on July 26, 1957, to Alvin & Evelyn Craig in Niagara Falls. Bill lived a beautiful life marked by hard work and dedication, particularly in his role as a factory worker in the ceramic tile industry at Summitville Tile, and a husband, father, and grandfather.
Perfectly spoken from his son, Tom- he modeled for his family to be loyal, honest, reliable, hardworking, and content. He truly wasn't one to complain and put others above himself more than we even realized at times. He was always in the moment and adapted to whatever life would bring both good and bad. Growing up in the muscle car era he had a love for cars throughout his life. He loved Westerns, camping on the weekends with his family and in his final years of his life joyfully spent his evenings sitting on the porch watching wildlife with his wife. He leaves an everlasting footprint on the friends and family around him that will be cherished and implemented into the next generations.
Bill is survived by his four children: Billy Craig (Tiffany), Roxanne Bon,Tom Craig(Tara) and Kimberly Craig (Ed). Grandchildren; Makaylah, Brenden and Ameika. Bill is preceded with his wife of 42 years Trina Craig who passed in January 2026, his parents, brother Tommy and sister Carolyn.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will take place. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and burial of Bill and celebrate his life on Saturday, June 13th. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. at Grove Hill cemetery in Hanoverton, OH. Arrangements have been provided by Brown Funeral Home www.brownfhonline.com, (330)337-6363.
Bill may be gone, but his spirit will forever live on in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Bill.
