Virginia Bullard

Virginia Bullard, of Salem, Ohio, passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on November 2, 1944, in Salem, Ohio, Virginia lived her life with a spirit of creativity and compassion that touched many. She was a proud graduate of United High School, before embarking on a remarkable journey as a business owner.

For over two decades, Virginia was the heart and soul of Ginny's Craft Workshop and later, Trade-A-Book Bookstore. Her dedication to her businesses provided her with a platform to connect with people and foster a sense of community. Outside of her entrepreneurial endeavors, Virginia volunteered her time at various food pantries, showcasing her commitment to helping those in need. Additionally, she assisted at the Veteran Center in Pennsylvania, reflecting her profound respect for those who served in the military.

Virginia was also a devoted member of Winona Friends Church, where she found fellowship and support throughout the years. She took great pride in her accomplishments, including her educational achievement to graduate from college and being a business owner.

Virginia is survived by her sons Samuel B. Bullard and Theodore W. Bullard. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Kenna (Bullard) Adams, Brandon Bullard, Perry Bullard, Ben Bullard, and Celeste Bullard, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. She is also remembered fondly by her siblings: brother Daniel Jr., sister Mary, and brother Melvin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Delp Sr. and Margaret (Sheen) Delp, as well as her siblings, brother Jerry, sister Nellie, sister Jonie, sister Bert, and brother Mike.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a gathering on May 20, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Dan Hepner officiating, both held at Brown Funeral Home in Salem, Ohio. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Winona Friends Church Food Pantry 4615 Whinnery Road, Salem, OH 44601 or the Food Pantry of the donor's choice.
