Violet R. Nichols

Violet R. Nichols of Beloit, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2021 at Altercare of Alliance. She was born in Sebring, Ohio on February 27, 1940 the daughter of the late Shepherd and Rosie (Grimes) Hill.

Violet enjoyed many things throughout her life but especially enjoyed; bingo, singing karaoke, playing cards, Ohio State football, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Roy J. Nichols Jr. whom she married on December 18, 1965, her daughter; Sherry (Eric) Augustein, grandson Andy (Lexi) Augustein, and a great granddaughter Fable Augustein. She is also survived by her sister Jet Ann Porter, sister in law Joretta Hill, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings; Blanche Puckett, Issac Hill, Harold Court, Roberta Mellot ,Herbert Hill, Phillip Hill, and Shepherd Hill.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel, 126 West Vermont Ave. A gathering of family and friends will take place the hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
