Twila J. (Steele) Gednetz, 86, of Westville Lake passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Salem Regional Medical Center. Twila was born on June 12, 1934 to the late Clement and Corma (close) Steele. Twila enjoyed spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren and her number one child "The King Kitty".
Twila is survived by a daughter Toni Henry of Westville Lake, a daughter Gale (Andy) Miller of Alliance, a son Brian (Lisa) Gednetz of Westville Lake, a daughter in law Sally Gednetz of Westville Lake; sisters Elaine Hilliard of Ravenna, Maxine Cain of Westville Lake, Karen (Dave) Miller, Butch (Donna) Steele and Jack (Vickie) Steele of Beloit. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Jason, Jeremy, Dustin (Nikki), Emily, Sharlene and Drew; great-grandchildren Chelsea, Melissa, Cessna, Cody (Paige), Asia, Antonio, Adriana, Aniya and her great-great grandchildren Tylen, Zaily, Remy and Landon. Besides her parents Twila was preceded in death by her husband Richard G. Gednetz who passed away on February 5, 2018; a son Richard "Rick" Gednetz Jr. on December 7, 2017; a sister Darlene Culler; brothers Kenny Steele and Pete Steele.
A funeral service will take place at the chapel of Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Bob Rowley officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Twila's honor to Believer's Christian Fellowship, P.O. Box 714, Salem, OH 44460.
