Shawn R Weingart

Shawn R. Weingart, age 72, of Salem, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. Born on January 28, 1954, in Salem, Shawn dedicated his life to family and community. A proud high school graduate, he enjoyed a fulfilling career before retiring to spend quality time with his loved ones. He enjoyed all types of sports, especially basketball and softball. He also looked forward to going to the park with his family.

Shawn is survived by daughters, Mandy Smith and Shawna Weingart; sons, Bryan Weingart and Brad Weingart; sister, Rhonda Nolan; and his grandsons, Gregory Weingart, Ethan Smith, Isaiah Smith, Kaden Smith, Griffin Smith, Brennan Airwyke, and Axton Blackburn. He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephew. Shawn was preceded in death by his parents Alden "Shorty" Weingart and Barbara Weingart, as well as brother Vaughn Weingart, and grandson Daniel Weingart.
