Sara Faudree

Sara Faudree, a dedicated nurse and former member of the Sebring community, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Alliance, Ohio. Born on August 3, 1945, Sara lived a life marked by commitment to her profession, deep familial bonds, and a passion for music and community service.

Sara's educational journey began at Sebring McKinley High School, where she laid the groundwork for a career that would span over four decades. She graduated from the Aultman School of Nursing, which paved the way for her remarkable nursing career as a Registered Nurse. Sara applied her skills and compassion at various esteemed institutions, including the Hopi-Navajo Indian Mesa in Winslow, Arizona, King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Salem Community Hospital, where she devoted over 40 years of her life to patient care.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Sara found joy in music. She shared her vocal talents as a member of both the Mt. Union Community and Deerfield Community Chorus and was actively involved with the Sweet Adelines, where her passion for singing brought happiness not only to herself but also to those around her.

Sara is survived by her loving sisters, Lydia R. Faudree and Linda L. Faudree. She was a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews: Diana L. Powers, Julie (Chris) Stamp, Steve (Teri) Faudree, William (Anita) Faudree, Michael (Melissa) Faudree, Michael (Carlos) Haberland, and Jeffrey T. Haberland, along with many great nieces and nephews who will carry on her legacy of love and care. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Zelma (Tuel) Faudree, and her brother, William F. Faudree.

Sara's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, a testament to a life well-lived filled with dedication, music, and unwavering love for family. Sara's family would like to thank Stone Creek Assisted Living and her Absolute Hospice Care family for their love and support.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring with Pastor John Tindell officiating. A time of visitation will take place the hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Friends and family may sign the guest register and send condolences online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
