Ruth Heineman

It is with both sorrow and celebration of a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ruth Eileen Heineman, who departed this world on January 25, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 11, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, Ruth lived a remarkable life filled with love, joy, and unwavering dedication to her family and passions.

Ruth was the beloved wife of William Heineman, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage since October 3, 1981. Together, they built a life enriched by the laughter and love of their family. Ruth is survived by her cherished daughter, Lisa (Doug) Gregory of Bristolville, Ohio, and her three sons: Robert Vasko of Salem, Ohio; Darrick (Lisa) Vasko of Austintown, Ohio; and William (Sarah) Heineman III of Austintown, Ohio. A proud grandmother, she leaves behind nine adoring grandchildren: Tyler, Raini, Lexi, Magnus, Alec, Madelynn, Grant, Lochlyn, and Nora, along with her faithful canine companion, Joel.

Ruth was a proud graduate of Chaney High School and was actively involved in her community as a member of the Kennel Club AKC, relishing in the opportunity to show dogs. She enjoyed the thrill of gambling, cherished day trips, and above all, treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Ryan and Erma (Cramer) Hoffman, who laid the foundation for her warm spirit and caring nature. Besides her parents Ruth was also preceded in death by her sister Joan B. Jandrokovic.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ruth's memory to Angels for Animals, reflecting her love for animals and the joy they brought to her life.
