Today lets remember a savvy, full of wit, silly as all get out, stubborn and ornery blonde.
Sally, A nickname given to her by her father was born on December 3, 1932. She loved driving bus for Southeast School District, working as a Dispatcher for Portage County Sheriff's Department and many other various occupations.
Even at the seasoned age of 88, Sally never forgot a Birthday. She made sure to show her affection through what she could; whether it was a card, donations or relentless advice and opinions.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents John and Cora Ruth Hormell; amazing and loving husband Charles M. Devine; two just as ornery brothers John (Judy) Hormell, aka. Tick and Glenn (Velma) Hormell, aka. Duke. Sally leaves behind her devoted pets, her dog Jazzy and her cat Izzy; brother and best friend Richard, you can call him Dick Hormell and a daughter Debra (Mike) Smith; step children Steven (Patty) Devine, Tammy Devine, Tabby (Jeff) Devine and Charles Devine Jr. She is known as granny to four adoring grandchildren Chris (Lori), Angie, Jodi (Cubby) Robinson and Jesse Devine. She also has 10 great grandchildren and 11.5 great-great grandchildren making her proud to enjoy five generations of her genes in her lifetime.
To those who knew Sally, there was always laughter, a smile, or a raised eyebrow to the outrageous things she would utter.
