Richard Wayne Striker, born on March 28, 1990, in Salem, Ohio, passed away peacefully from natural causes on June 25, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was 35 years old. Richard was a cherished son and a devoted brother, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him with his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. Richard graduated from high school and found his calling in the special needs cleaning industry, where he dedicated himself to providing a safe and welcoming environment for those he served. His work was not just a job but a testament to his compassion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Richard loved spending time with family and friends and playing video games. He is survived by his loving mother, Gloria Gocher, his brothers James Scott and Alan Striker; and his uncles Thomas Welsh Sr. and William Welsh Sr, aunts Heather Downs, Teresa Welsh and Wendy Welsh and special friend Jennifer Carson and Bella. Each of them will carry forward the legacy of love and dedication that Richard embodied throughout his life. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at New Waterford Cemetery Chapel, 3154 Mc Closkey Rd, New Waterford, Ohio. A time of visitation will take place one hour before the service. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Richard's life and share cherished memories. He will be laid to rest in a dignified burial ceremony, giving all in attendance the opportunity to reflect on the profound ways he touched their lives. In honoring Richard's memory, we will continue to strive for the same compassion and understanding that he so effortlessly demonstrated. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
