Nancy Jean Holcomb

Nancy Jean Holcomb, 69, of Ohio, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Salem, Ohio. She was born on November 14, 1956, in Alliance, Ohio, to Florence Cook and the late Gene Cook.

Nancy graduated from West Branch High School and devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mother to her three daughters. She was a caring and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She especially cherished her role as "Nanny" to her grandchildren. Nancy loved watching them grow up and enjoyed attending their school activities and sporting events. Her kindness, support, and love for her family will be deeply missed.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Patti (Rob) Baringer, Lisa (Matthew) Hoopes, and Sandra (Chris) Huber; her mother, Florence Cook; her sister, Darleen (Jim) Martin; her grandchildren, Ilish Baringer, Cael Baringer, Kendelle Hoopes, Madi Hoopes, and Sam Hoopes; her step-grandsons, Shawn Huber and Justin Huber; her niece, Clarice Martin; and her nephew, Wesley Martin. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Cook.

Nancy's love, warmth, and devotion to her family will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
