Michael J. Grove

Michael J Grove, 72, went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2026. He was from Beloit, Ohio, born on November 3, 1953 and lived most of his life in North Georgetown. Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be remembered by all. He was a 1972 graduate from West Branch High School and a 1976 graduate of Muskingum College, where he earned a degree in Accounting and was a CPA for 50 years. Mike was also a proud truck driver for Frito-Lay, and drove with the Garth Brooks tour. Mike's passion was collecting and restoring tractors. He loved tractor pulling with his brother, Bob and wife, Annette. No vacation was done without bringing the truck and trailer and they would always bring a tractor home. Mike was a Jeopardy whiz and would say the answers while holding a separate conversation. Mike enjoyed boxes of Little Debbie cakes and candy bars, white cake with vanilla icing (2 layers, extra filling), his collection of Quaker Mules, which he proudly considered the world's largest collection, golf, baseball, and his useless fact of the day. These will be some of the things his family will miss. Before Mike's passing, his family and friends were surprised to discover he had been a student pilot, which he never shared.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Grove Sr. and Gloria Morrow-Grove. He leaves behind his loving wife, Annette Huskins-Grove; his brother Robert Grove Jr. (Karen); his children, Abbie Eagan (Kevin), Jamie Wolfe (Jared), Kevin Grove (Rebecca), and Josh Huskins (Michelle); long-time dear friend Bobby King; and his grandchildren, Jake, Riley, Jayden, Addison, Brooklyn, Gloria, Chloe, Elly, Jackson, and Sebastian.

Mike's greatest legacy will be the family and memories he leaves behind. His never-ending stories, his sense of humor, his interests, and his witty one liners will live on in the people who knew and loved him. Calling hours will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Beloit, Ohio on Thursday September 17, 2026 from 4-7pm with the funeral immediately after, beginning at 7pm. A private burial will take place in North Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbiana County Antique Tractor Association, Mile Branch Grange, or your local Fire Department. The family would also like to extend their deepest appreciation to Expand Therapy, the Orchards of Alliance, and Aultman Hospice for their care and support.
