Michael Frank Edie

Michael Frank Edie, Sr. passed away at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital on Monday, August 10th at the age of 58. He was a 1980 graduate of West Branch Local Schools. After graduation, Mike spent most of his working life in the oil fields. He finished his working career at PTC where he was a tow motor operator like his father. Mike was extremely hardworking and was a huge history buff. He enjoyed watching the History Channel and visiting historical sites. Mike loved to be around his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time around a bon fire where he was a constant source of laughter and entertainment. Mike was also extremely talented. There wasn't much that Mike couldn't build or fix. He could be found helping his family and friends on many home renovation and building projects. He is survived by his girlfriend, Debbie Warner, daughter, Alixandria (Brandon) Light, Son, Michael (Kaitlyn) Edie and grandchildren: Faith, Jayden, Adelyn and Austin. Mike also leaves behind siblings: Debbie (Sam) Martig, Steven (Debra) Edie, Patricia Edie, Mark (Jody) Edie and Frank (Tonya) Edie. Mike leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well. Mike was proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Peggy Edie and grandson, Aiden Christofer.

Services will be held Friday, August 14th, at Gednetz-Ruzek- Brown Funeral Home in Sebring. There will be a public viewing time from 5-7 pm. The viewing will be followed by a non-traditional Sharing Service. This will be a time to share a memory or story of Mike. We all have a favorite "Mike Story" and would love to honor Mike by sharing stories of how much he meant to us and how much he made us smile.
