Michael Eugene Baddeley Sr., a member of the Sebring community, passed away on May 25, 2026, in Sebring, Ohio. Born June 10, 1954, in Alliance, Ohio, Michael lived a life marked by commitment to others, both in his professional career and personal endeavors.

Michael proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, a role that reflected his strong sense of duty and patriotism. Following his military service, he devoted many years to working as a bus driver for Sebring and West Branch Schools, where he was known for his reliability and kindness, ensuring the safe transportation of countless children throughout his career.

A man of varied interests, Michael embraced a love for golfing, motorcycling, and fishing. He was particularly noted for his enthusiasm for engaging in various "projects," a testament to his hands-on approach and creative spirit. Michael was a member of the Sebring American Legion and its Legion Riders, as well as a former member of the Sebring VFW. Through these affiliations, he connected with fellow veterans and community members, fostering camaraderie and support.

At the heart of Michael's life was his enduring dedication to family. He is survived by his brother Jim A. Baddeley Jr., Ed Baddeley Sr., Dan Baddeley Sr., and sister Ida Mae Harnage. Michael was a proud father to three children: Michael E. Baddeley II, Lisa Baddeley, and Maranda Campbell. His legacy extends through twelve grandchildren-Macenzie, Edwina, Alyssa, Benita, Melinda, Jaden, Arilyn, Parker, Isaiah, Owen, Camille, and Alexa-each of whom carried forward the warmth and values he instilled. Michael also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Cheryl Starks, brother Frank Baddeley, and nephew Eddie Baddeley, whose memories live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
