Martha A. Wade

Martha A. Wade, of Sebring passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, after an extended illness. She was surrounded by her family.

Born on a Saturday, May 9, 1942, in Alliance, Ohio the daughter of the late Rose and Matthew Tafe. Martha married "Tom" Wade on December 10, 1957. They started their family with daughters Dolly and Michelle. They proceeded to build a happy life filled with so many wonderful memories.

Martha's legacy of love carried on by her daughter Dolly Wade, grandchildren Courtney (Jamey) Snyder, Carly Brunie, Casey (Raymond) Brunie, her great grandchildren; Aidan Brunie whom Martha raised from a child to a young man, Emma Monday and Olivia Ponick. Martha had many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Brunie, her husband "Tom" Wade as well as her beloved brothers Bill and Bob. She is also survived by her fur buddy Max, a great dog she cherished.

Martha was one of the first women hired at General Motors Lordstown in December of 1970, she retired after 33 years of service. She truly enjoyed being a homebody. Decorating her home was a passion. She loved shopping for antiques and shopping immensely. Dining at a variety of eateries was also a favorite. However, trips with her family and friends still remained high on her list. Martha was a loving, generous person with a quick sense of humor.

We will miss her deeply, but we carry the comfort in knowing her spirit lives on in every life she touched. The family would also like to thank Crandall Medical and Hospice staff for the special care they provided Martha with.
