Marcy Jean Watt, 69, of Westville Lake was a lover of all things nature, a devoted wife, loving mother and proud Gaga passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 after a brief battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born on June 2, 1953 in Alliance, Ohio the daughter of the late Gerald and Jean (Linder) Miller. She was a 1971 graduate of Marlington High School and a 1975 graduate of the University of Akron. Marcy was a permanent resident of Westville Lake. Marcy enjoyed hiking, zoos, nature centers, walks on the beach, live music and going to dinner and dancing with her husband Patrick and friends. She loved celebrating her birthday for the entire month of June, golfing with unlimited mulligans, and dedicated Wednesdays and Sundays as time spent with her daughters and grandchildren. Marcy was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring, a member of the Maryknoll Society-Catholic non-profit mission, member of the Defenders of Wildlife, the National Audubon Society, Nature Conservancy and the World Wildlife Federation. Marcy and Patrick Watt, her beloved husband and business partner of 47 years were married on September 6, 1975. Together they owned and operated Miller's Flowerland and Greenhouse for 45 years.
Survivors include her loving husband Patrick Watt, her daughter Kelly (Kyle) Miller and their children JJ, Jake and Charlie Jean, her daughter Amy (Benjamin) Humphrey and their children Ella and Olivia. The family would love to say in lieu of flowers you could donate to one of Marcy's many organizations she was so passionate about, but if you know Marcy, then you know she LOVES FLOWERS.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 4:00 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. A time of visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the church from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
