Lori Ellen McElroy

Lori McElroy (Dawson), age 71, passed away on April 11, 2026.

Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Neil McElroy; her parents, Daniel Dawson and Helen Green (Pepe); and her brother, Craig. She is survived by her brothers, Bradford and Eric; her son, Nathan (Shauna); her granddaughter, Leah (Cameron); and two great-granddaughters, with a third on the way.

She was always happiest when surrounded by animals, something anyone who knew her would recognize right away. It wasn't just something she enjoyed-it was a part of who she was. Being around them brought her a sense of calm and comfort, and it was where she felt most like herself.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
