Linda J. Stryffeler, a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Salem, Ohio. Born on July 30, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio. Linda was a graduate of Canton Lincoln High School and worked at Alliance Community Hospital, a career that spanned 25 years.
Linda held a variety of interests that brought joy to her life. She found peace and happiness going to the beach, where the waves and sun rejuvenated her spirit. Gardening was another passion; she loved tending to her flowers and watching the birds, which she admired for their grace and beauty as well as spending time with her dogs. Yet, above all her pursuits, it was her grandchildren who held the brightest place in her heart. Brandt, Brooks, Jack, and Reghan were sources of immense pride, and Linda cherished every moment spent with them.
Linda is survived by her husband, Tom Stryffeler; her son, Mike (Jordan) Stryffeler, her daughter, Jennie Stachowski; and her son, Marc Fonner. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Greg (Carol) Mischler and Amy (Chad) Crawford, a brother-in-law Leonard (Jill) Stryffeler, and sister-in-law Sue (Warren) Burd, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Fred Mischler, and her mother, Drusiana Musyt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Linda's honor to Danny's Cans, which can be dropped off at any Huntington Bank Branch. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel, (330) 938-2526, www.grfuneralhome.com.
