Lee Ann George

Lee Ann George, a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 71, in Alliance, Ohio. Born on January 31, 1955, in Salem, Ohio, she filled her life with love, laughter, and a creative spirit that touched everyone around her.

Lee Ann cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Pernell) Peterson, and her son, Michael (Katina) Clark. Lee Ann took great joy in being a grandmother to her two grandchildren, Molly and Kyle Peterson. She is also survived by her brother, Richard "Rick" (Sue) Caufield, and her brother Wade (Faye) Caufield. Additionally, several nieces and nephews, survive her. She was predeceased by her parents, Vaughn and Gladys Caufield, and her sister, LaVonne Smarr.

Throughout her life, Lee Ann had a passion for various crafts, always creating something special with her hands. Her love for family also extended to spending quality time with her beloved dogs, finding joy in their companionship. An avid golfer, she loved the game and enjoyed the moments spent on the course.
