Kathleen Regal

Kathleen Regal, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, in Salem, Ohio. Born on January 20, 1947, in Sycamore, Illinois, she was the loving daughter of Walter and Ruth (Scott) Smith, who preceded her in death.

A graduate of Greenford Schools, Kathleen carried the values instilled in her from a young age throughout her life. She was known for her warmth and kindness, always putting family first. Her passion for cooking was evident, as she enjoyed sharing her treasured family recipes with friends and family.

Kathleen's legacy lives on through her son, Brian Regal, and her stepchildren, Charlotte (Gene) Richards-LaFleme and Chris (Melissa) Shipley. She was devoted to her family and cherished them for bringing her great joy and happiness.

Additionally, Kathleen is survived by her brother Richard Smith, who will remember her fondly as a sister who was always there with love and support. Preceding her in death was her husband, Harry Regal, who was her partner in life and love, as well as her sister Patricia Dustman.

A graveside service in honor of Kathleen Regal will be held on November 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at New Waterford Cemetery, located on McCloskey Rd. in New Waterford, Ohio.
