Joyce E. Kempf, a cherished resident of Canton, Ohio, was born on September 26, 1943, in her beloved hometown. She peacefully passed away on June 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and creativity that touched all who knew her.

Joyce's life was deeply rooted in family and the simple joys she found in her hobbies. She had a special passion for ceramics cake decorating and needlepoint, crafts through which she expressed her artistic spirit. She enjoyed poetry her passion for poetry was strong enough to have them published several times. She also delighted in camping adventures shared with her late husband, Kermit Kempf. Above all, Joyce cherished her family, with a particular fondness for her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and light to her life.

Joyce is survived by her loving daughter Kimberly (Dale) Kempf-Stickler, who stood by her with unwavering support and affection. Her grandchildren-Phylicia, Aalyssa, and Joshua Stickler-were the pride and heart of her days. The presence of her sister Bertie (Robert) Shirley was another source of comfort and companionship. Joyce's great-grandchildren, Emmitt and Carter, carried forward the family's enduring bond.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Kermit Kempf, who shared many years of partnership and love with Joyce. She also mourned the loss of her siblings Richard and Robert Stage, as well as her great-grandchild, Esther Stickler.

A graveside service honoring Joyce's memory will be held on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Hills Memory Garden in Canton, OH, located at 5001 Everhard Road Northwest. Friends, family, and all who loved Joyce are invited to gather there to celebrate her life, remembering her gentle nature and the warmth she brought to the lives around her.
