Jacob Auman, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 4, 2026, in Canton, Ohio. Born on May 28, 2004, in Akron, Ohio, Jacob's life was marked by warmth, humor, and dedication to those he loved.
A graduate of Choices High School, Jacob found his calling as a Jack of All Trades at Bubba's 33, where he was beloved by many colleagues. His enthusiasm for work was matched only by his love for his family and friends. Those close to him remember him for his quick wit and unwavering willingness to support others. Jacob's family would like to thank their extended work family at Bubba's 33 for their support in their time of great loss.
Jacob took great pride in his truck, reflecting his passion and attention to detail. In his free time, he found joy in going to car shows, playing video games and listening to music, simple pleasures that brought him comfort and happiness. Above all, Jacob treasured his role within his family, especially as a devoted brother and loving uncle to the newest additions, the twins.
He is survived by his mother, Brandie Young and father, Braden Auman, maternal grandparents, Leroy and Cheryl Young; maternal great grandfather Donald Haupt; Aunt Linette Young-Gajovski and Uncle Walter Young; as well as his siblings, Jeremy Young (and Shelby Fisher), Jaleah Nickson, and Braden James Auman Jr. Additionally, Jacob was fortunate to count among his loved ones Crystal Leishman, whom he regarded as a second mother, his best friend Darius Leishman, the extended Leishman family, and his faithful pets, Jax, My-My, and Roman.
Jacob was preceded in death by several beloved family members, including his maternal great grandmother Sharon Johnson, maternal great grandfather Richard Young, maternal great grandmother Shirley Haupt, his Aunt Tina Young, and his dogs Bear and Bandit.
